Seventeen-year old Anthony Lewis teams up with Queens rapper
Billy Bang to remake Soul For Real’s 1994 R&B classic “Candy Rain.” Both
artists are currently signed a to former Interscope Records executive Garnett
March’s record label The Chemists. March worked with 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Blackstreet, Master
P, Westside Connection, Floetry, Mary J. Blige, Keyshia Cole, 50 Cent, and
Kendrick Lamar. I can’t say I’m a fan of this remake. I don’t think anything
will ever come close to the original. There was just magic that Heavy D shared with Soul For Real. Check the original Candy Rain Remix below. RIP HEAVY!!!
