Silk is an American R&B group, formed in 1989 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Their music was great and had a sexy style in their lyrics.
The five had a gospel background. They started off by singing in their home
churches. Keith Sweat was one artist that they also gave praise to for noticing
their potential in music. That was a start of brighter things in music.Silk
moved from Atlanta GA. to Los Angeles CA. to work one on one with Sweat.
Basically all R&B groups are extinct today, so for this “Throwback Thursday”
I’m giving you a taste of some REAL SANGIN. As Day 26 and TGT are in the studio
right now planning on another album, check on how it used to go down when
people could actually sing.
